Supertubos

The waves in Portugal… part of the culture and the beauty of the ocean all along the coastline. Each unique and each having two sides. The beauty and perfection of this spot in Péniche is coupled with it’s treacherous nature of an extremely shallow beachbreak and heavy wave. This day might look as inviting as it gets but rarely have I seen so many broken boards and scary falls. Nonetheless it’s a fascinating wave and home to one of the biggest surfing culture in Portugal.
