Puglia
The Puglia region feels like it is stuck in time to me. Not much has changed for hundreds of years. Wine, olives and the delicious food. A beautiful wild seafront yet very rough, stone constructions to protect themselves, from the sun mostly. Every city has something historical and beautiful to offer, my personal preference for the more abandoned ones and with a more dark history.
